Ecological Belonging Network

The Ecological Belonging Network is a global network of changemakers working to restore humanity's vital connections to place, to community, to the natural world and to intergenerational wisdom. Their approaches differ, including education, healing, policy, art, land stewardship, and spiritual practices. Together, we are creating a space to weave together our work in service of deep connection, guided by the question: “How do we live?”

The community was seeded in the spring of 2025 and continues to grow. We foster connection, support knowledge sharing, and uplift practices that renew a sense of belonging in a time of disconnection.

Network Objectives

The objective of this network is to support an emerging field of practice of changemakers working to restore interconnection. Together, we foster connection, support knowledge sharing, and uplift practices that renew a sense of belonging in a time of disconnection.

  1. Build Connection Among Members: So no one feels alone in this work. Relationships across cultures and contexts create strength, support, and the possibility of collaboration.

  2. Share Knowledge and Lived Practices: Surface the tools, rituals, and daily ways of working that already live inside the community—so members can learn from each other and grow in their own context.

  3. Spotlight Members' Work: Make visible what's already happening on the ground—to amplify their work, inspire others, and grow a wider culture of ecological belonging.

These objectives support the emergence of a resilient community that can plant seeds for a broader cultural shift towards ecological belonging.
